I have Progressive. Best price i could find for 2 quads a 2004 sports 700 and a 2021 Cfmoto 600 and $1700 coverage on the trailer.
Full coverage on all with $500 deductibles 50/100/25 seems reasonable with a atv at $420 a year. Markel quote was more for less.
What’s the Premium for just the trailer? I thought it was covered by truck insurance anyway. Btw- I have Progressive as well. For a 570 and 450 it’s about $150.00.

And that’s why I like having a local broker.
I get to ask all these questions to them.

One company told me that in the case of a vehicle that is capable of having an auto insurance policy will not be covered by your homeowners if you choose not to have an auto policy on it. Not sure if that is the standard or just the company I was talking to.

I have State Farm for Homeowner, Progressive for vehicles and Pekin Insurance for my business

None covered my trailers, but the trailer's contents were covered by one or another. I got trailer coverage for $5 per trailer (I have 3) through State Farm

Another thing I learned from my current policy (All State) is when I asked them if my trailer and contents were covered by my insurance policy. They said if it is not connected to a vehicle it is not covered. So if you are in a crash and it becomes disconnected at any time during the crash you are not covered. Or if something happens while it is parked somewhere while you are on a ride. Just another excuse for them to get you to purchase more insurance.

Trailer insurance get's even more confusing. I was in a accident with a buddy's snowmobile trailer a few years ago. He didn't have a policy on the trailer. My insurance, Travelers, covered it under uninsured motorist. The trailer was still connected (we slid backwards, jack knifed and it hit my truck).

On my insurance with Travelers, it explicitly denied coverage on any trailer that it did not cover, regardless of it being connected at the time of the accident. Because this accident I was at fault, the trailer was considered another party.

So now, with my current trailer (enclosed), I have it fully covered for 400 a year. I won't pull any one else's trailer (except maybe a u-haul one). My vehicles (ATV's and snowmobile), have their own policy if they were in a accident with the trailer.

I sold my street bike a few months back.
When I went to remove it from the policy, the premium was going to increase! Not sure how that works. Remove a vehicle and it gets more expensive??
I left it on.

Then, I recently bought an 850 and sold my grizzly.

I made all the changes the other day. Remove the vmax, remove the grizzly, add the 850. Policy went up about $21/year
Total is $162/year for a 2015 570 and 2020 850
No trailer coverage
$500 in safety apparel
Physical damager option= actual cash value
Bodily Inury and property damager = 15K/person, 30k/accident, 5K/accident
No uninsured coverage
No underinsured coverage
5K pedestrian protection
No medical payments
No enhanced injury
$500 deductible on comprehensive and collision coverage
No roadside assist
No carried contents
$3K accessory coverage

I dont go for price when I get insurance.I go for coverage & the least hassle free coverage. None of that , and I quote,,,,"page 30 chapter. 13 theft not included"(Home insurance USAA)
Another thing,I dont do dont do is have the same insurance for my toys as my H/O and Auto..... If theres a claim with your toys it goes against your H/O's ,with that they can raise.
H/O's & Auto =Amica 👍 👍
W/C & Liability =Selective 👍
ATV = Progressive 👍👍👍

About 25 years ago, my buddy had his quad stolen from his yard. He normally would park it in his garage, but he left it out with the key in it. Next day it was gone. Made out a police report and they asked him about his insurance provider. He thought it would be covered under the home owner's policy. After the insurance company got a copy of the police report, they did not agree with his belief. I don't think he had it a full year. The authorities never recovered it.
