Just recently bought a '95 Xplorer 400, Purchased the Haynes manual for it because it did not have an owner's manual but the only thing I have found for coolant type is antifreeze 50/50. But I am a big believer in DexCool, especially if there are aluminum parts just want to be sure it's safe to use in my Polaris.

Thanks.

No - do not use Dexcool - use Maxima Coolanol, Honda coolant Type 1 (green ) or Type 2 (blue), Engine Ice, Polaris coolant or other type of powersports coolant. Use a coolant that is no or very low silica formulation mixed 50/50 with distilled deionized water. The water pump seal in motorcycles and ATV's can be damaged by silica in automotive coolant. Silica is used to condition the seal in automotive applications. The seal in motorcycles and ATV's can be damaged by silica as the design of the seal is different and does not need 'conditioning'.
