I'm in Amarillo. The machine is clean but I'm wondering what some of you do to ensure a long and happy life on your bike.

I don't plan to race this thing and will likely use it a lot in Angelfire, NM.

Thoughts?

1) Keep fluids changed as recommended or more depending on use/abuse.
2) Keep grease zerks well greased (& happy).
3) Keep the machine clean/washed after each use.

Follow these three simple steps and you should and the machine should be happy for many miles/years to come!!!

When I buy a used atv.... I like to replace all the fluids before I log many or any miles. I'll change the engine oil/filter, front diff, rear tranny/diff, check anti freeze, check brake fluid and make sure all switches function as they should. I also put a dose of SeaFoam in the gas. Another good idea would be to pull the clutch cover and inspect the belt and blow out the clutches to keep them free of rubber dust and clean!! About $50-75 in fuilds and a few hours in the garage getting to know your machine intimately and you'll both be happy!!! :D
