when changing your oil, an differential, do you have to use Polaris brand or can I use oil and grease from advance of the same weight an type?

Any good full synth 0-40 will do in the oil. Some even say 5-40 is fine.

Front diff most stick with the demand drive by Polaris.


Rather be riding, instead I'm using Tapatalk

I just did the break in change an Polaris gave me 5-50w oil an I gotta do the differentials now, so I figure ill just stick with Polaris, the dealer is outta the way for me an I was just wondering.

Other than the front drives I see no reason not to use any reasonably good quality synthetic oil of the same viscosity as recommended. Lots on here are using differant brands. There will always be an argument about Polaris oil verses the rest but use what is right for you. Lots of us use other lubs and are having no problems.
