I've been trying to decide on tires, damn just too many to chose from. I think I've narrowed it down to these, I think. I want an aggressive all terrain tire that's radial. All the reviews that I found are good. Think I'm just going to stick with 12x8x25 fronts and 12x10x25 in the back. They run 25.4". Thought about 26" but I'd only gain 1/2" ground clearance not to mention an extra 18# of tire to turn.
Going to go with ITP Delta Black Steel wheels. They are lighter and a whole lot cheaper than aluminum. Should be plenty strong for what I ride. No rocks to bend rims on around me so should be ok. Will these fit in stock location, I don't want to be covered everytime I go for a ride.

Anyone else running the HTRs?

i just got the HTR's....very nice tire....wicked traction....soon as I got them we had snow storms twice a week....so they are great in snow....I hit a few trails near me and there was 16 inches of powder snow and it went right thru no problem....I went up on a working skidder road a few times when it was warm out an snow thawed some an muddy road..clawed right thru it....took it over some ledge outcrops climbed right up...great tires....best purchase i made.....you wont be dissapointed.....I looked at a lot of other brand atv forums also for reviews..not a bad one any where....

I would not say they are deep mud tires..but never know...I dont do 3 feet of mud....but they are aggressive tires

I looked at these tires as well, seem pretty good? Just how heavy are the stock rims, must be very heavy if an aftermarket steel rim is lighter?

I have about 300 miles on mine. Very happy with the performance. Ride smooth on faster trails, clean out well in med mud, climb logs and rock pretty decent, and good in snow. I got the same size you are looking at. The 10" wide rears are about the same as the stock 11" on my 800. And the 8" front was about 3/4" bigger then the stock 8". And the stock 25" are about 3/4-1" shorter then the HTR's

I meant aluminum vs the Delta Steel. ITP Aluminum and the Delta weigh just about the same. I want black rims and don't ride rocks so I don't see the need to have the aluminum at the extra cost.
