Well got thinking of a way to stop the kong from being cut by the rope if pulled too far so made up some nylon pucks one goes in big end and other end sits in a cup here are some pics let me know what you think

Your not going to be able to raise the plow as high now...
What do you mean "cut by the rope if pulled too far" ?
I have never seen anyone have that problem before. Have you cut thru one before?

This one has a slice. I went too far not paying attn sucked the rope through the side of the small end I have removed the metal bar the hook attaches to and made a new attach point. lifts higher now before squishing the kong

Mine has split too, from the hook being pulled into it...... always thought a flat washer on the hook side would help, but haven't gotten around to replacing it and adding the washer. The nylon puck would be a good idea, hope they work out for you! Keep us posted.
