Welcome to the forum bud!!!
My lights are underwater too much to spend any kind of serious money on them lol. The china candles have surprisingly held up so farA lot has to do with the housing, true, but the quality of the LEDs makes a huge difference. I have a double set (Super Duties take 2 per side) of Beamtech LEDs on my truck, and they are insanely good, and over 2 years old. Flawless so far.
I put a set of 880s on my Low Beam only lights on my 22 Highlifter... both color and brightness were drastically improved.
Still ordered a 10" Rigid E-Series Spot/Flood combo light tho. Waiting on my bumpers to come in to install it. But when out in the lake in the dark.... you want all the light you can get!

Yeah mine look great from a distance and they light things up pretty close but they lost range from the stocks for sure. I guess mine are low quality even for chinas production standardsThe Amazon Chinese LEDs I bought are noticeably better. Pic taken within minutes of each other.![]()

No, your experience is the typical one. While trying to figure out which bulbs to order, my search results made me aware of the issue you have. I don't recall where I read that this brand and model was better than some and also brighter. As you can see, they add a smidge of distance. I light bar is still needed, IMHO.Yeah mine look great from a distance and they light things up pretty close but they lost range from the stocks for sure.
