Wow lots of wrecked quads here. Bummer. Here's my blue 19 1000 and green 850. The 1000 has 27x9x12 maxxis 'zillas front and rear on 12x6 stock steel Ranger rims. Had to grind the brake calipers about 1/4" and also use 1/4"spacers. 100% worth the effort, the rim protection is so much better than the 14" rims. I posted an info thread in "wheels and tires" with more pics for anyone interested.
I'm considering taking the sway bar off. But I ride pretty crazy so I'm curious how much more body roll I'll get when hanging the rear tires out at speed. Anyone done it? I have my stock springs cranked all the way stiff already to stop from bottoming out so much. I'm also looking into some Fox, Elka, King, Walker Evan's or similar shocks to try to get the suspension on par with the 450 Mxers I have. Any input on aftermarket shocks?
