Somewhere in the last couple of days I lost a pipe knock from the transmission plate. Are these really important or can I just have one in the plate when I put it back together..
Case alignment pins is what they look like to me, and what I would call them. Never heard the term case, knock before. You would probably be fine missing one. Only concern would be getting it to seal properly around the hole.
I was just calling it what the parts dealer called it, I never heard it called that either. But I did end up finding it behind a box in the shop. It must of got knocked out when I changed out the seal..
Yeah, I looked on the Polaris microfiche and that's what they're called. I'd just never heard the term. Glad you found it. One less thing to worry about.
