Shouldn't be with just clutching changes. Big tires will rob a lot of top end though. Clutching doesn't give you more HP, just optimizes what you have available to use with the setup you run. It takes HP to turn bigger tires, and more throttle input to get to the HP so more fuel is used.
If you have stock tires, then nevermind that. LOL If that's the case, something else may be wrong, or you're just on the throttle more having more fun with it than before.
