It cuts out in reverse as soon as I give it gas. It just goes dead. It doesn't happen all the time
Motor cuts out in reverse
I have a 2005 Polaris 700 Sportsman. Recently, I've had this issue where I put the atv in reverse and then sharply turn the handle bars to the left. Occasionally when I do this the atv shuts down. It starts up right away so I am having a hard time figuring out where to look first for the problem. Thank you for anything you can tell me that might help.

Just a single key, nothing hanging off of it that would catch on anythingWhat is hanging on your key ring beside just the ignition key? Something is catching the key ring when turning left and turning off the ignition
Interesting, I hadn't thought about that. I'll have to take a look at that. Thank youThrottle cable not properly adjusted and throttle safety switch shutting it down?
