We have a 2004 Sportsman 500 HO that needs a new engine. Have found one from a 2007 Sportsman 500 HO, but wondering if it will fit in the 2004 chassis. Any input would be appreciated.
Motor swap out question - will 2007 fit in 2005 chassis?

Probably would, the part #s for the crankcase are the same, only one I checked. Check the other part #s online '04 vs '07.

It will fit, 500 motors and chassis haven't seen a major redesign since 2001
