I am a new owner and have a question. Went in mudpits over the weekend and was wondering if there is anything special that I should have done to have the sportsman prepared for it before I went in. I am concerned about water getting in the engine or electrical, etc. or are they all sealed up and don't need to worry much about it?
Thanks

I would make sure I clean and put dielectric grease on all connections. I always plug off coolant weep hole as any small pea gravel can get in there and eventual destroy your oil seal and mechanical seal and shaft assembly leading to engine failure. This usually only happens in extreme mud racing conditions. K&N filter with outerwear to repel any moisture. Make sure to change all fluids when done as moisture will come in from seals and vent lines. These are just some of the basic things you can do. Hope this helps.....
