I have seen the videos on YouTube and made they changes they showed. Now, the awd light does come on but the front wheels do not drive. The speedo doesn't work either, I have read that this, the speedo, is the real problem and that I need to get a new speedo to fix the awd problem. Is this true? Is the something else I can do?

The AWD coils get their ground through the speedo - if the speedo fails - no ground

Ground the brown wire with a white stripe and if there is 12v on the gray wire the AWD will work, but it will be on in reverse and the speed limiter will not work either, so be careful.
