I'm waiting for the new bushings. Hope it's not too hard to read. I'm a fast trail rider. Upgraded to ELKA Stage 1s and now Stage 4s.

I also replaced waterpump seal twice, speed sensor, brake switch and key switch when under warranty.
As you can see I change the fluids often. I run it fast but don't kick the crap out of it. No mud bogging. If I have to go through a hole I will, if I can go around I will also.
Still runs as good as the day I got it.

Valves 4x. Just check and adjust to middle of specs. 0.004 & 0.006

I believe it's at 10hrs then every 100hrs after per manual.


How much work is it to get valve covers off on those rotaxes?


The eotax rumble and insane torque has always impressed me.

Secondary has grooves in sliding half where helix rides
Won't shift 106/107 like a brick wall
Dremeled grooves out

Gates G exploded
Primary has bad levers. Notches on them & worn into side of clutch
Put stock belt back on.

Aug 9/17. 12960km. 368h

New primary and secondary (takeoffs)
Original belt
Front diff oil
Rear diff oil


I had shoulder surgery august 17th. Haven't been out since.

Rotator cuff was torn and bicep tendon had to be screwed in my upper arm (reattached).

I'll be down 3-6 months

October 11/17 12970km 369hours

Put new replacement HTRs from Kenda on. Original set always leaked at beads. Kenda replaced for free. Been sitting in garage for 2 years. Filled originals with slime and ran. Still always flat.
Got 6000 miles out of them
