I looked everywhere for exhaust mods. I couldn't find any that were what i wanted. Seems most people are gutting the inside and punching a huge hole out the back. Many videos have that ugly hollow sound like... well you gutted a stock muffler. People did it on 400ex and raptor 660s a lot. Just unbolt the back of the muffler. Horrible.

I wanted mine to stay somewhat quiet but to have a nicer sound. I hate that whooshy air flow sound of a stock muffler.
I took my muffler off, cut off the tail exit and grind it flush. There is a piece that goes in about 2" that has holes drilled in the sides. Broke that loose and pulled it out. Then widened the hole to around 1.5" and welded on a new pipe pointing straight down vs the curved tail like stock.

The sound is waaayyy better. Nice deep rumble and clean sounding. Sounds aftermarket. But remains decently quiet. I'll post pics and a video later.
