I wondered why there is no breakdown of the auxiliary (rear) master cylinder in the Polaris shop manual for 2000 325 Magnum 4X4. They sell only the entire unit for $140.99!
The 2 seals on the piston -- not the outer dirt seals -- have tiny markings. One is "77" and on the opposite side "W WE". The other is "39" and on the opposite side "E".
Anybody know where these can be found?

Barnyard fix

Could not find the seals anywhere so I stripped some copper telephone wire (26 Ga?) and wrapped it around the grooves where the seals are seated. This expanded the seals just enough so they now hold good pressure to the caliper. So far it's OK. Saved $149.45 and a trip to the dealer.

Neoprene ages

Lost pressure after a week. The seals were not only worn, but also aged. Little chunks flaked off the leading edge and allowed fluid to pass.
Anyone know a source for these seals?
