I have been researching new utility quads for weeks now and sold my 2005 sportsman a week ago. I was looking mainly at Yamaha, Can-Am and Polaris. I've always had good luck with Polaris but thought I might try something else. After doing extensive research i was still undecided. I really didn't consider the 850xp thinking the price tag would be too steep, but the more I read, the more I liked this model. Once I called my dealership and got their pricing on the 850xp, my mind was made up. I picked up a new 2013 Indy Red 850xp non EPS for $6,952 out the door. I didn't think I would find anything much less and it was from our local dealership. (Nelsons Speed Shop)
Polaris does have a rebate going on right now so the purchase price was nearly $1000 less than normal. Even at 8k it seems like a good deal.

I'm just a little curious of the 850xp prices elsewhere, and was hoping that we could help others in the market for a new XP.

$6,952 for a 2013 xp850 "out the door" which to me means with tax and registration.
I just find it funny how the price that people say they pay for things is sometimes so low on forms pages. Once on a Acura MDX page a guy wanted everyone to be leave he paid $23,999 for a brand new 2010 MDX fully loaded MDX tech at his dealer.

Oh we'll what ever makes you feel good.

I was up at Nelson's about a month ago and priced the 850 EPS LE and the 850 EPS and the before tax (6%) price was $8940 and $8440 respectively. I ended up getting the LE model in Kalamazoo at a price match. You might what to try North End Cycle in Elkhart. They do a lot of business with Michigan owners and probably will get real close to or match Nelson's. I didn't go there but a co-worker got his new 850 EPS at the $8400 range as well and 20% off merchandise and free 500 mile service. Probably should have gone to North End, but was tired of shopping. Nelson's does have good prices and probably the best in western MI. If that is what their quoting you with tax, cut the check and head north to Baldwin, Drummond Island, the UP or any place you can legally ride for your break in period. Good luck and can't wait till the warmer weather comes and all of this white stuff goes away!

The prices are still good until 3/30/13. $6952 was the price i wrote the check out for then loaded it up (includes tax, title, and prep). Call them up and they will give you the OTD price right over the phone. (616) 754-9185. The EPS model was under slightly under 8,000. Price is around 1,000 lower than normal due to Polaris's current rebate. I'll ignore the mockery and just be happy that I got a good deal. Just trying to help out anybody else looking to buy one.

I don't think anyone is mocking you at all, its just incredibly hard to believe. My best friend was a sales manager at a polaris dealership for a few years and when I showed him this info he basically said that dealership is literally giving it away. I'm referring to the EPS units BTW. I totally understand about the rebates for sure, hell, I wouldn't have just bought my 850 if it weren't for the rebate but even with the rebate and the 2013's in a considerably small supply (especially in California) I have a very hard time justifying the prices you are saying. Nothing personal for sure my friend.

Got ya. I always thought they were cheaper but didn't know by much (only compared to our other local dealers.) I also bought a new atv from them back in 03 and they were roughly $1500-2000 cheaper than other local dealers that I had gotten prices from. I know they don't make much money on the atv sales. They sell a ton of atvs, sleds and side-by-sides. Most of there profit comes from apparel and parts, i believe. They have a "snow show" every year and sell 100+ sleds in 2 days. Profit by numbers i guess.

With or without EPS? I can get this for a non-eps all day. I paid much more for my EPS model though.
