Hey everyone,

I just bought a 1999 Polaris Sportsman 335 4x4, I bought it cheap of craigslist not running, got it running, and went through it doing some maintenance.

When I bought it the front lever for all wheels felt fine and held pressure and stopped the quad fine, The rear master cylinder is seized but I didn't care since it seems common with Polaris quads.

Installed some new front brake pads, but now my lever has no feel. Reservoir is full of fluid but no pressure builds, loosened the bleeder and barely and pressure or fluid comes out when the lever is squeezed.

Im a tech and have no problem rebuilding the masters and calipers if I have too, but my question would be is there a common problem with sportsman brakes? Something like "oh yea, they all need front master cylinder rebuild"

No fluid leaks anywhere but no pressure

any info is appreciated, Thanks!

fixed

So apparently its common if the lever gets squeezed all the to the bar that the plunger for the master cylinder sticks in, needle nose pliers, pull it out, pump up the lever, all good.
