Bought a new 2013 xp 850
been trail riding
I have 525 miles on it
?'s
what is the best clutch kit for stock tires, trail riding flat lander, quicker
the whining when you drive is that normal
when idling grab a quick handful it hesitates a second
that's it I love it best wheeler I have owned
what to look out for and to check?

Welcome to the forum! Glad to see you are still around. (Mister Twister on VS) There are a few companies that offer clutch kits for the 850. Quadshop Customs (QSC), Dalton, EPI, and Speedwerx are the big ones. I'm a dealer for QSC and can set you up with exactly what you need. All their kits are custom designed for each person and their needs. Get rid of the 0-20 rubber band stretch wind up before it gets going, quicker ET's, more low and mid range power, better pulling and towing for moving sleds around the track or maintaining it, I will hook you up. The whine is normal from all the 550s and 850s I've seen. few dozen that have been through the shop this year. The throttle hesitation off idle is something hard to tune out. I got most of it with a programmer, but still about 20% there.
