What should the gap be set or is it pre set?

i was told by polaris mech to leave the gap as it comes from the box....he said it works fine...also he said most damage them by using wrong gappers....dont use a disk type...use the one that hooks on the ground electrode and use a feeler guage...the tip is very fragile and thin....

You don't gap iridium plugs. They come gapped.
