No power to the dash:

Hope someone can help so I can ride and work this weekend:
- Yes, battery is fine, 13 V and just off the charger.
- took battery out, checks out fine and put it back
- it lives a pretty pampered life, stays in a garage, no mudding, and it is clean? Primarily used for getting around the farm.
- Trouble began ~week ago where I had power to the dash - just nothing to the starter motor - key switch would not engage starter. I could manually start.
- Started out being very intermittent, then more frequent, now I can't even get power to the dash?
- Where should I look first?
- is there a main electrical circuit breaker somewhere?

Thanks!

Morning and WELCOME!!

Best to know what machine you have, but Ill bet you have corrosion at the fuses or a blown fuse. On the sportsmans its under the front box on the XP under the front rack.

Remove the blocs and check for corrosion too.. because you mention it ''starting as a problem'' this tells me you may have corrosion...

Good luck,

Definitely sounds like corrosion could be to blame here. Since you said manual start I'm guessing it's not any bigger than a 500. Start at the pod and work your way down. Most electrical is housed below the pod and just under the front rack. Also, check your grounds.
