I have an 06 sportsman 500 HO with about 800 miles.

Although it does fairly good, I'm not totally pleased with the engagement of my stock clutch. Trying to ride a wheelie is a pita, the machine just isn't responsive enough.

It's always that wind up the motor then go.....also hard to through mud on my buds when trail riding.

It would also be nice to feel it lock up a little tighter in low range when I am pulling things.

I do not, repeat, do not want to do anything that will take away from reliability of the machine.

Any suggestions on an upgrade?
I was looking at heelclicker but heard many bad reviews.

You may have heard bad reviews, but it's also one of the most popular, and most adjustable, clutch kits out there. Also, I've never seen or heard a bad review about one other than if someone happened to have gotten the wrong kit or weights for their machine. But that, of course, is just my experience.
