Was wondering if there are any riders in this area. Im from upstate SC and would like to find some cool people to ride with. I have only been riding for about a year, and usually like to stay with in a couple hours from home. My friends and I usually do day rides, over night primative camping rides, and also do the taking the kids camping ride aswell (my son is seven with a polaris 50cc). So post up if your from the area, and tell us your story!!!

Hey! Me and a couple of other guys are just across the border from Spartanburg, and would love to ride sometime. We are not to far from Brown Mountain OHV Trail System, and have been a couple of times to Carolina Adventure World. I have been looking at a couple of places in SC to come ride that are not too far away. Would like to do some overnight primitive camping somewhere too......

How is brown mountain? I have heard that it is kinda rocky but pretty good riding. You dont have any pics do you...

A lot of it is rocky. There was a lot of mud too when we went (rained the night before). There are several trails you can ride on, only three are designated single track. Several of the trails are challenging with rocks and steep descents, but overall its a good ride. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.....

Cabella's is coming to upstate SC. Just signed the contract and will be installing the parking lot this summer. Sure beats driving to Bass pro shops in charlotte. So if your in asheville, or the near by then come on down.

Oh crap..there goes more of the pay check...lol I know the hunting cloths that I have from Cabella's is thicker material than from Bass Pro. There was a rumor last year about Bass Pro building in Maggie Valley or Asheville. Not heard anymore about it this year sofar.

NC/SC Utility Racing

Hey guys I want to invite you out to race the Mideast Hare Scrambe Series Mideastracing.com. I am the lone Polaris racer. I normally run B class with my 550 sportsman. But would love to see a bunch of Popos show up. WE have classes from just fun trail riders to full blown fatory teams there. We normally have around 130 quads show up to race.

Tracks are built two days before the race and never rode till we start race. We race for an hour and a half. There are even classes for the little ones. They race for 30 minutes on a much easier track.

Track consist of a field start in woods, normally mutiple creek crossings, always one huge hill to climb, and some knarly tight sections.

We have a great time. All you need is a helmet, long pants, work boots go racing!!!

Just heard of a new atv park in Gaffney SC. K-BAR-M atv and dirt bike park. According to there website it seems to be a mom and pop type deal. BUT have heard from others that it has alot of acre's. Plus they will allow night rides!!! & Camping. Gonna try it out soon myself.

We'll I'm from Florence area, but in S.C. Have raced all over S.C. and N.C. Want to think I've been to k-bar-m, but can't remember for sure.
To ride, I usually would go to CAW.

My normal riding grounds have closed for the season. Thinking that Gaffney spot might hold me and the kids over till spring. Any adults want to give it a shot and see if it is safe for the younger ones? Might have one more hopeful spot in laurens sc. as well. I'll keep checking
