Hi. I posted a question about my quads lack of top speed yesterday and was informed to check out my drive belt and clutches. However I've taken out all the bolts on the clutch cover but it seems to be sealed with some time of heavy silicon. I can't get it to budge. Is this normal and any tips to remove it? I have a 2003 sportsman 400.
Thanks

If previous owner had a leak he may have siliconed it up. Fairly common issue. Cut it off and make sure you re seal it.

Thanks. I've worked a hack saw blade around the the cracks but it's like they silicones it on the inside before they put it on. It's not budging so far.
