Hi all

I have a 1999 polaris 4x4 sportsman 500 and wanting to do ALL the fluids.


But i get different part #s for the oils (dealer vs my owners manual vs seen on line)

Can some one help me? :smileysex5:

looking at:
front gear case
front hubs
rear trans case

FRONT GEARCASE OIL
Polaris Premium Hub Drive Fluid (#2781654)
Substitutes:
Amsoil Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
Amsoil STL Shock Therapy #5
Any Type F ATF
Dextron III Trans fluid

TRANSMISSION OIL
Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant (#2783602)
Substitutes:
Amsoil Series 2000 Synthetic Chain Case Oil (TCC)

REAR GEARCASE OIL
Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lube (or GL5 80-90 weight gear lube)
(I assume the stock fluid is #2781653, Gear Drive Fluid)
Substitutes:
Amsoil 80w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube (AGL)
Amsoil 75w-90 Severe Gear Lube (SVG)
