I just bought a 2002 Polaris sportsman 700 twin and while going over everything I go to pull the oil dipstick and it comes out about an inch and shows little rubber grooves but doesn’t come out any further, I’m afraid I’m going to break it I’m pulling really hard on it. What should I do?

If its really stuck that bad it must be bent or something. I don't know how it could have gotten that way inside the engine??
Regardless, if stuck so bad you can't pull it out of the tube, I'd remove the two screws and clamp holding the tube in the crankcase and pull the whole thing to see what's going on.
Here's a pic.

If you do end up trying to pull it I'd throw a pair of pliers/vise-grips on the actual metal part of the dip stick.

It doesn’t come out to the metal part at all just the first portion with the rubber. I’ll try to take it apart then I’m confused to how it’s stuck like that

Pretty sure I’ve read a few other posts on this happening(dipstick, not apostrophes)before but don’t remember reading how or why it happens. When you figure it out definitely give us follow up. Good luck.

I’m confused reading this.
I've definitely seen this configuration of numbers and symbols before,I believe we could trace it's origin back to the Roswell incident, beware. :nerd

I too have had this happen and all I did was yank the crap out of it until it come out. If it breaks you will have to replace the dip stick and tube. The tube is not a real problem to replace so yank away don't hold back!

If pretty sure that happens cause your using something that runs a different programming language and it gets it mixed up sometimes when translating it. I've had it happen before on apps vs webpages. As far as the dipstick I agree with whoever said to remove the whole assembly and check it out.
