My sons 2006 Polaris 500 HO has the oil light blinking and wont allow the 4 wheeler to engage or move. Starts up and runs fine. He did change the oil recently and I did notice the oil line running from the reservoir to the crank was an after market (no slit in line) could this be the problem or we looking at electrical problem?

Thanks
Craig

Welcome to the forum!! There shouldn't be a slit in the hoses going from the oil tank to the crank. The hose with the slit in it is @ the top of the oil tank going to the air box. Could be the oil pump has lost its prime & thats why the oil light is blinking. Has it been this way right after he changed oil or did it run ok & move right after the oil change??
