Hello, I recently picked up a 570, not through break in yet and im wondering.
Im seeing people run 0-40 and the oil I would like to use I can get in 10-40 or 20-50. Im thinking on running 10-40. This is my first bike and am in unknown lands here. Any thoughts?

You do not want to run a 10W? or 20W? oil in your machine. A 10W or 20W oil is too thick at start up in any climate to properly lubricate your engine so your just wearing out your engine at start up. A 0W or 5W are the correct choices but I choose to run
0W40. There are thousands of discussions on this forum about this subject.

What oil do you "want" to use? Any good oil brand should have at least a 0w-40 available.

Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic in 5W-40. Perfect for this machine, and you can get it at Walmart for $21 a gallon. Top grade oil, too!
