I have a 2016 Outlaw 110 EFI that is well maintained. It was getting hard to start so I replaced the spark plug and Coil & wire after the wire broke. It still wasn't running right and has become increasingly difficult once it warms up. I adjusted the valves (intake was tight) and ohm tested the Idle Air Controller and Fuel Injector which both tested good. Any ideas on what may make it not want to run hot? Another piece of info is that the plug seems to get carbon build up on it pretty quickly. It will start and idle once it cools down but not perfectly steady. It drifts up and down a little.

I also have a 2018 Outlaw 110 and are considering some parts swapping to troubleshoot further.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Check the compression, check the air filter - will it start easier if the throttle is held wide open and closed slowly? Are you using non ethanol fuel? What did you set the spark plug gap at? Where did you get the replacement coil w/wire and cap?
