Hello everyone! Glad to join the forums!

I have a Phoenix 200, I believe its a 2008. Last year I had the carburetor replaced along with a few other things. It ran nicely until I stopped using it for a couple of months. I forgot to treat the fuel and it was just left sitting for about six months. I went to go start it the other day and it didn't start so I took out the carb and cleaned it up. Not only this, but I checked the spark plugs, oil, etc. Now when I try to start it, it doesn't actually start. If I spray some carb cleaner into where the air filter hole is, it starts up for a second, but I don't think its getting fuel. I recleaned the carb today however and when I opened it there was fuel sitting in there, so I'm not quite sure what the problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I use a heated commercial cleaner and it takes 20 minutes or longer to clean things thoroughly - spray cleaners are good for surface dirt but are like using water to take tar off a rock on the hard fuel residues inside jets and internal carb passages. I used to use a commercial cold parts cleaner ($35 for a gallon about $145 for 5 gallons), but quit using it when I saw the results of the heated sonic cleaner with a specific cleaning solution for cleaning white metals.

Oh, definitely good to know! I'll be trying that out tomorrow. Thank you for your help!
