If your going to rebuild completely your best bet is gonna be to get a manual for it. Polaris sells them and i think haynes has them too. Otherwise depending on who ya know, just go to a dealership and ask one of the service guys. It never hurts to make friends with the guy in the service department.
I know this post is old but I am at the same place. I ordered a new polaris piston and my machine shop needs the clearance specs. I asked the dealer and they said polaris recommends new cylinder not a bore so they do not give a clearance. this sucks. I a mready to bore and build it this weekend and have no specs. I looked for a manual and that takes weeks to get . Anyone know these specs and can share? thanks in advance
