I have a 1990 Trail Bos 350 liquid 2x4 that I need to bore the cylinder and insert a new piston. I have tried various dealerships and no one can tell me what the pistion to cylinder wall clearance specs are so the machine shop can bore the hole to the correct specifications. I am using a cylinder which is 0.5mm over standard. Hope someone can help out, so I can get this machine back together.

It also depends on what brand of piston you are using. I know wiseco (forged) requires twice the amount of a cast piston. I was just looking at some of my boxes of pistons and some state the required clearances. I won't mention any specs as they don't directly apply to your machine. Good Luck
