They make pliers just for removing the body panel rivets. You can get them at Harbor Freight, as well cheap. Search for replacement rivets on ebay. Many people use a standard blade screw driver...I went to Harbor Freight

The pliers in your tool kit has a notched end on it just for them.
Dern, wish it was still there. But there is a cool spring preload and clutch tool. Anything else that should be in there? I guess it's off to HF again. Think I'll add a star tool set. Thanks guys.

On the rivets themselves..... NAPA has them locally in the Power Sports section.

its really not bad to do with a flat head screwdriver. I just took all of the body panels off of mine, and I didn't ruin a single rivet. Just be gentle.
