Please Help! - Carb not getting fuel

I have a 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. I don't have much experience working on four wheelers. A while back the four wheeler stopped running and I realized the carb was not getting fuel. I replaced the fuel pump and that didn't fix it. I removed the fuel valve and replaced the fuel lines and vacuum line, that still didn't fix it. I made a post online about it and someone said that the float was likely stuck closed. I replaced the carb with a new one. The whole time I was trying to start it before, I had the airfilter / box removed. I realized that the carb / vaccum line may not be getting suction if the air filter / box was removed. I sprayed starting fluid into the carb and then put the air filter / box back on and tried starting it. It cranked and burned off the starting fluid, but it appears the carb is still not getting fuel. The engine is definitely sparking. I have not yet tried removing the vacuum line to see if the vacuum tube from the carb is getting suction. I only have about one gallon of gas in the tank because I don't run it often. The fuel line running to the fuel pump is the "reserve" line, so it should be getting the fuel from the bottom of the tank. I was considering adding another gallon to see what that'll do. This has been an irritating problem and I'm running out of ideas. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Remove the line from the fuel pump to the carburetor at the fuel pump. Put a short piece of hose on the fuel pump. put a catch can to the other end and crank the engine over. You should get a couple ounces of fuel cranking for about 10 seconds. If you're getting fuel then it's the carb.
Good idea. I'll try it, thanks.
Most fuel petcocks have screens on them inside the fuel tank, do Polaris’s also?

If so, it may be plugged up.

I don't think that's the problem, there was fuel coming out of fuel line when I replaced the fuel pump.
on the bottom of the carb turn out the drain screw and see if you have gas in the carb before you dig to deep see if fuel comes out it says you put on a new carb? new oem or china carb i would take that off and throw it as far as you can and put the oem back on, it says you had the lines off were they all put back on where they came off, could be they are mixed up

That’s why I suggested pulling the carb supply hose off the fuel pump and testing for flow ;-)
I took the vacuum line off of the fuel pump and there was no suction on it. This is a new carb, any suggestions? It is a relatively cheap replacement carb, I believe the carb that was on there before was a cheap replacement one.
