barely, it needs a lil layer of oil on the cylinder walls to help seal the gaps in the rings. Another squirt or two of oil won't hurt.
Make sure you have fresh gas and clean carb.
Ok , that's a new one! How did you get a 76mm piston into a 75mm hole????? It has to be a 75mm piston in a 75mm hole or the other way around. I believe the wrong rings were included. Happens a lot.
Gotta 1999 Polaris 300 two stroke 4x4 .. running fine then at 3/4 throttle in 2 wheel high it just quit and then when I tried to restart by electric start the starter would not turn motor over so I pulled recoil starter cord and it wouldn't budge til I gave it a good yank. Turns over sound like its got compression but wont run has fire and gas. If any one could give me some info or just their input would be appreciated . PEACE
