Hey everyone,

I am new to the forum. Look forward to interacting. I have recently taken up interest in fixing old ATV's. I have an opportunity to buy a 91 Polaris 350. Seller says it was running fine, then she sunk it in 3 feet of watter and now it won't start.

Looking to see if anyone has seen something like happen and potential issues. My first thoughts are water in the fuel, oil, carb, air filter. Second thoughts are electrical which I have delt with on a Polaris trailblazer 250 and was pretty easy fix.

intereseted to get some perspective.

Find out if it was salt or fresh water. If fresh water, convince the seller it's a dam near total loss and you're getting it for parts. Get it cheap then make some nice profits. Like you said they're usually pretty straight forward fixes

Thanks,
It was fresh water. They wanted me to try and start it, and I said no thanks. I think I am going to low ball them and see what happens.
