Ya, I would buy a 2010 850 EPS X2 XP. They anounced a 550 without EPS, I have seen them on the dealer lots already. I am partial to the X2 setup, but have 0 interest in the 550 or one without EPS. Back in 2008 when I bought my 800 X2, it was an LE model and the only way to get the 800 motor in a 2008 X2 . I am thinking if they are going to offer what I am wanting this year it will likley come as an LE only model like my 2008 was.

Ah so are you going to trade in the 800 for the 850 if your model comes out?

Ya, not so much trade, since I already sold my 800 X2 to a buddy about a week prior to the 2010 model polaris press release, that I was fully expecting Polaris to come out and offer a new 2010 EPS 850 X2.

Polaris came close to it with the Touring 850 EPS, and the 550 X2, but the 850 EPS X2 is what I want, so I will just hold out for a while.

I like the premis of having a two up capable machine in the stable, but one that also has other capabilties other than just 2 up mode as well. The X2 suited my needs perfectly.

Had I not gotten spoiled by my 850s eps system, I would have never sold my 08' 800 X2. But once I was hooked on the 850 EPS setup, I seldome road the 800, unless I had to for its 2 up capabilty, or one of the other machines was down or something.
