Would the new clusters swap to other xp machines?
This is from the newest sportsman catalog, so hopefully the kit will be available soon.

Something else of interest is the wireless link below that, looks like it lets you get diagnostics, fuel consumption rate, mpg, etc on your phone.

Like that guage cluster a lot if only for the fact they're now showing mph AND rpm together....GPS/compass is a nice bonus too.

Sounds like other than colors and guage pod everything else the same just renamed to make things sounds special?

Nope! it says right in this post that they also come with:
· Premium Fox® Podium X, 24 position compression adjustable front and rear shocks
· Front storage box
· Hand guards
· Thumb and hand warmers
· Front bumper

the standard 1000 doesn't come with either of those. pricing everything out, this looks to be between $800 to $900 savings than if you were to add everything including the display to a base 1000 separately.

i've been foaming at the mouth to get this for mine when i had seen it listed in the accessories catalogue. it was supposed to be released in october but polaris customer cars said sometime in the 4th quarter. now we are into the new year and still nothing although i don't think it will be long now. they don't have a parts breakdown for either of the new LEs but the display itself is the same part number for all models including the snowmobile, rangers and rzrs. i'm thinking the install kit is only the plastic piece that holds the display in place.

I might go ahead and get the display just to see if it'll work, not like I have a pod anymore with the flexx bars so I'll have to get a bracket fabbed up anyways.

I like that new cluster.

Still no love for the XP X2. One of my all time favorite quads was my 08 black LE 800 X2. In 2009 I got spoiled by the new 850 XPs power steering and moved to XP chassis.
Then wanted later wanted more power and went back to the Can-am and bought a 1000 XT with EPS.

I would still love to have another Polaris, but I have been waiting 6 years watching Polaris dance all around it. Even bought a 12 touring hoping to make it like an X2. Wasn't the same. Having the seat with you all the time was much more handy. The little bed was very handy at times as well. The unlocking rear diff making for extra tight turning on a 2 up machine was also very handy. The Touring in just not the same. To the Touring was more for someone that rides two more often then not. The X2 was more for the occasional 2 up riding with a multitude of versatility at other task.

My dream quad would still be the XP chassis with an 850 or now the 1000 with EPS in an LE X2 version in stealth black, basically just a modern version of what I had years ago.
They did an XP 550 without EPS for a couple years then added the 850 version for one year again without EPS. Then when they finally gave the XP X2 EPS but they dropped the 850 option. Just a constant year after year dance around what I want.

I have pretty much given up hope at this point.

They abandoned the XP x2. They only have it in the value line. I totally agree with you it could be the best versatile machine .....what a shame.... I still keel my 2007 x2 waiting to upgrade like you but I think that there is no hope.....

Wow your absolutely correct. I ad not noticed that before they have pulled it off the XP chassis and moved it back to the old econo chassis.
I guess all hope is lost. They had and XP850 X2 for about a year, all it needed was EPS and would have been an owner. They took away the 850 a couple years ago, but gave it power steering. Not sure when it lost the XP chassis, I am guessing that was last year when it finally got EPS?
