Hey guys so I got around to installing my hew HD springs on my 2005 sportsman 500. Here Is the bike with the plow lifted and normal

All in all was easy to do and took about an hour.

No not very much i like the feel and handling of a firmer front. Riders preference i guess, but if your plowing i think these are a must have.

Santa brought a set of HD springs to my house and I installed them today. Huge difference. I don't know exactly how high I could lift the plow before, but now I have 16.5" of clearance (mind you, I have a 2" lift). No sag at all.

BTW...the 2012 requires removing the entire front clip to get at the top shock mount. To get the plastic off, you supposedly have to remove the pod and handle bars. I decided to cheat a little by using my Dremel on the plastic. I left the cap semi-connected (didn't cut all the way around) and will use some epoxy or silicone to seal it up later.
