What is that like 17 crew models now? I love my Ranger 900 but wish Polaris would come up with some sort of convertible seat option like the honda pioneer or the new mule pro fxt.

Pretty Much the old 800 chassis with the prostar engine...no turf mode tho

ps those convertible seats aren't very comfy AND if you have them in "cargo" mode and haul loose items like dirt or gravel it gets EVERYWHERE when you go back to seat mode, floor, cushions, every nook and cranny.

I agree their are trade offs on the convertible seat machines.....but heck my kids will ride back there not me. LOL! I've got a slide in cage for my ranger that fits in the rear bed, but i've found its such a hassle to take in and out i rarely put it in except trips. And with the cage in place the bed is useless. We have a 600 acre farm and it has about 10 miles worth of looping trails on it. On weekends and evenings we go for rides, a machine that will quickly convert that gives me the option of extra seating or bed space would be nice. I have no desire to buy a long wheel based ranger because of its size (won't fit in my toy hauler) and while I carry passengers frequently, i don't enough to want a full crew machine.

I get what you mean about dirt getting in the seats of the honda pioneer, but they do have an accessory bed liner.
