Last weekend i got a chance to take my new scrambler mudding with some friends. But every so often i would go through some water (water was a little over the clutch cover) and the atv started to sputter, and i would barely make it out of the mudhole. Then once i was out of the water it would continue to sputter for about 5 minutes, and then it would run fine. I have even had this happen to me when i am washing the atv!! I dont know what to do to fix this problem, but i think its some kind of electrical issue. If anyone has had this problem, is there an easy way to fix it?

first i would check if the airbox drain plug was removed and not replaced,if its there than i would check the reciol starter drain plug.also was your recoil handle completely seated as water can enter there.

I think the vent for the belt is under the left front fender. Wont make engine sputter, if water gets inside, but belt will slip.
