Polaris Sportsman 400 2012.
All wheel drive not engaging.

Good condition, under 100 hours on the clock.

I've just had the voltage rectifier replaced and new battery.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

The battery was getting drained within a few hours all of a sudden when the Odometer was hooked up.
Bought a new battery thinking that was the problem but No, then my research led to replacing the rectifier. But since, the AWD icon is on- on the Odometer screen but it's not engaging when ridden.

Might be a dumb question but how are you testing the AWD system? On the newer models I think it operates like a vehicle AWD system, it only engages when needed. So if the drive wheels aren't loosing traction the fronts won't kick in. This could be the dumbest response of the day if I am wrong about this, but that is how I understand it works, not sure if yours is the same or not.

Why does the stator need replaced? It is for charging the battery and I don't believe it has anything to do with the AWD.
