Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the speed limiter on the sportsman 570 2019 model, as mine is registered to 40km/h. I live in Norway where the dealer won't remove the speed limiter because of the newest laws, any suggestions would be great.

I’m not sure they have those in U.S. but 24.8 mph would suck. That’s a big investment for that restriction.

It appears the speed limiter is programmed into the ECM - you might see if you could have a US source reprogram the unit.

This is a situation of someone else knowing what's best for you. And some people think living in the US sucks and that we should be more like Europe. These laws are VERY annoying, i think you should have a option to choose with or without a speed limiter. Like 2 different keys, one with speed restrictions and one with no speed restrictions.

Do you know any websites where they sell these ECM programing devices?

Yeah RVSPerformance is legit and owned by a good guy named Ryan. He used to be very active on this site but his business took off and his time is concentrated on that. He is also very knowledgeable on clutching.

Tony, we are neighbors, it's just a big country. Just because the "united" states have open open borders between the states does not mean that the borders between the US and neighboring countries should be open unless the neighboring countries open their borders also - it should not be a one way street!
