2014 sportsman 90 will start but pops the fuse right off the battery after running it for about 10-15 minutes. Also the headlights are no longer turning on but the taillight does. The headlights I checked and the bulbs are good.

Any help would be great.

The lights work on AC, but the brake light works on DC - try unplugging the rectifier/regulator and run with the lights off to see if the fuse still blows.

Tried this and it did the same thing worked for about 15 minutes then melts the wire in the fuse like it is a slow burn.

Leave the rec/reg unplugged, start the engine and disconnect the brake light - try it again
