Hi! I'm a new member looking for some help with my 98 xplorer 400. The machine runs great, but is difficult to cold start. In fact, it only starts after holding the throttle open with the electric start for approximately 10-20 seconds. Once it's warm, it starts easily. I adjusted the choke tension to specifications thinking I had solved my problem, but no luck yet. I wanted to get some advice before digging into the carb; like I said...it seems to run very well once I get it started. Thanks for your opinions!
