Just finished up mine 😁. 2011 Sportsman 800. Complete rebuild from the rebuilt nFlow Motor and transaxle to the rebuilt front diff and new frame. Added SuperATV EPS and Rhino axles. Garage products complete bushing set. The list goes on took me almost 4yrs and 2 quad purchases before I finished it up.

Lol mine belongs in this area. I did pretty much exactly the same thing, got it from a buddy. Engine ran/runs perfect, had issues with linkage and shifting, belt creeping, bad u joints bla bla never saw a tube of grease or the gun needed new motor mounts everywhere, changed everything fluid wise and flushed corresponding casing, still had some work to do but tonight I actually have it back to where I can/ did drive it. Man the front brakes were so out of adjustment it was almost like drag parachute on back…thing coasts now in neutral. . Need to either replace rear shocks or rebuild 1 had bent shaft, odds and ends , it has brand new mud lite tires. Snorkeled, leds on winch mount/polaris front grille , all new all balls u joints and bearings, bushings. ..i am in need of a speedometer for a 97 500 sportsman 4x4….o IT HAS A CUPHOLDER 😂😂😂
Do trucks count?? This is my 1996 f150. Got it from my grandmas friend who ended up wanting to give it to someone who was gonna use it until it died instead of letting it sit in her barn. I ended up deciding to restore it because it’s such a classic and now I’m building a 408W stroker for it. Gonna be a beast! View attachment 157098

Sorry, tired..my pop went to norfolk assembly plant and watched his 86 F150 Lariat build on assembly line. Added a 351 windsor for good measure and a 4.10 gear,….needless to say it was not remotely close to slow. Those 351’s with a nice flow master or magnaflow setup sounded great, im a mopar guy had my 99 Ram 5.9R/T since 2002 with 18.322 miles, just about 2500 from 200,000…rebuild top end last summer along with entire hvac replaced, have access to a garage lol didn’t have to pay for labor. I’ll never oet anyone work on my shit again nuncha theives it’s solar yellow and runs like a naked ape, 398hp @ 4180 rpm 475 lb fr torque n im not done those 318/360 long block were severely restricted by emissions back then

It was a 351 with 3.55 stock. There were no brakes when I got it so never got to really drive it besides on and off the trailer. Like I said I’m building a 408w for it, rebuilt e4od trans with a shift kit, rebuilt lsd with 4.10 gears, rebuilt front d44 ttb with 4.11 gears, rebuilt borg Warner tc, 6” lift, and rear disc brake conversion along with all new brake lines and components. Gonna shoot for close to 600 at the crank but we’ll see. Can’t wait for it to be done.

Nice, torque is better than speed in my book anyday, then again I drive a pickup everyday everywhere i go haha, bjt she boogies. 351 is an amazing power plant, the Cleveland was trash, windsor not, 3.55 is a nice gear for tq n speed, looks in great shape, I know u will have fun, just drove my sportsman for 1st time in 3 months man what a great feeling especially when u start from almost butt naked frame

Shes in driveway In need of a serious alignment lol, gonna see if I can source some bushings etc and look for shock rebuild kit,
Unless anyone recommends just buying new. I see alot of people who are against anything other than oem belt, I have 1 that was on it sais factory spec…believe it sais 30x12xa 4digit number likely the diameter/linear length. The 1 I bought is a ultima ua, it not only eliminated the secondary rolling in neutral it grabs at a low rpm amd is very smoot transition from stop/go. Maybe it’s depending on bike idk. I see the logic, factory r smaller and allow clutch to close more, i think my secondary needs to be dismantled and inspected. I fixed alot of issues with the help of everyone and I want to thank you for your time, patience, lol patience 😂…time haha m o yea your help!!!!
