Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone here is running a power inverter on their sportsman? I know I won't be able to get a real big inverter but I am planning on getting one for it, maybe even permanently mounting it in one of the storage compartments. What is the biggest inverter you guys have been able to run with the ATV idling? Mine will be used mostly for charging dewalt batteries and laptop/gps chargers.

Sounds like you could go with a small inverter so i don't see where there would be any problem.sounds like s great idea.

Keep in mind that a 100 watt inverter is going to pull 8-10 amps at full load , the Dewalt charger should be ok , but a laptop charger { my gateway is listed at 1.5 amps / 120 volt input = 180 watts } might be too much at idle .
