i purchased an 04 predator 500 a little over a month ago. i have taken it on several rides for various distances. this past weekend i was out riding and it stalled out. i figured that it had overheated because it was running for an hour and it was about 80 outside. so i let it sit for about 30 min and it started right up. i rode about 100 yards and it stalled out again. so i took it home and since took it apart and tested the battery and the leads to the starter. the battery was low so i changed it but the starter wasn't receiving power. i connected the leads on the starter relay with a screwdriver and it cranked fine. and started right up. but that doesn't explain why it stalled out. and why it still won't start with the electric start. even though its getting power. my question is what could be causing this problem? what do i need to replace in order to get it back to normal.
