I need to do a rebuild but the machine shop I dropped the jug off at is an automotive machine shop. I decided to bring it to somewhere that has experience with atv parts. Anyway I confused on the procedure. Are they bored first then plated to the right piston spec or what. I heard the old plating is too hard to bore. It had a new .040 wiseco top end already but it smoked and overheated. I guess the previous owner didn't do something right when it was redone.
